B&L Disposal informed the Borough that they will no longer be collecting BAGGED RECYCLING MATERIAL, as it is no longer accepted at the Recycling Facility. This means that ALL recycling material will have to be loose in the recycling container in order for it to be collected.
The Recycling Committee has red Ridley Park recycling cans for sale at Borough Hall. The cost is $15. Stop by Borough Hall to purchase yours today.
Sellers Avenue Bridge Sidewalk Closure
Please be advised that PennDOT has ordered the closure of the sidewalks on the Sellers Avenue bridge over Amtrak/Septa. Maintenance crews were onsite this week to close the sidewalk access. A barricade was installed on the north side of the bridge to delineate a new pedestrian path along the curbline of the road. Borough officials are currently working with PennDOT to improve access and the signage to the new pedestrian path.
