Borough Council and Boards and Commissions Meeting Schedule
Council Workshop
The first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 P.M. Council Chambers, 2nd Floor of Borough Hall Public is invited to attend
Council Meetings
The third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 P.M. Council Chamber, 2nd Floor of Borough Hall.
The public is invited to attend. The regular council meeting is televised on Comcast channel 5 and RCN channel 52 and on Verizon channel 41.
Shade Tree Commission
The second Monday of the month at 7:00 P.M. Borough Hall.
The Shade Tree Commission is tasked with maintaining and overseeing all shade trees in the Borough. This includes trees in the parks and the rights-of-way in the Borough. Lastly they work to design and support planting of new Shade Trees in the Borough.
Recreation Board
The second Thursday of the month at 7:00 P.M., except no meetings July and August.
The Recreation Board shall plan and develop and implement recreation programs for the Borough.
Library Board
The third Monday of the month at 7:00 P.M., except no meetings July and August.
The Library Board shall work to make all rules and regulation for the proper governing and conducting daily duties of the Library.
Telecommunications Advisory Committee
The second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 P.M.
The Telecommunication Committee shall review and over see all Telecommunication Agreements with the cable providers. Along with overseeing the broadcasting and equipment.
Historic Commission
The third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 P.M.
The Historic Commission shall perform duties related to the maintenance ad presentation of historic properties and holdings of the Borough.
H.A.R.B.
The fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00 P.M., except no meeting in November or December
The primary duty of the HARB is to ensure that the exterior architectural character of buildings/structures is not altered, demolished, or reconstructed in such a manner that the building/structure is no longer a contributing historic resource.
Board Of Health
The fourth Wednesday of the month, except December which is the first Wednesday, at 7:00 P.M., no meetings July, August, November.
Oversee inspection of the establishments in the Borough along with other programs for the well being of the Borough residents.
Zoning Hearing Board
Meetings will be published as needed.
Shall review application for variances or special exception for the Borough.
Planning Commission
The fourth Wednesday of the month, except December
which is the third Wednesday, at 7:00 P.M.
Shall review and approve plans for new builds and subdivisions in the Borough.
